Clarification: Gentrify Rural America

When I typed Gentrify Rural America, I meant create jobs like Starbucks did in Ohio. I meant not moving to Canada but developing areas where land is probably cheap.

I did not mean displacing anyone. I especially did not want to suggest removing Native Americans violently from their land.

A Tribe Called Quest – “We The People”

Tribe Called Quest’s We The People discusses the fears people have about the possibility of our country regressing .

Tribe’s new album, Thank You For Your Service..We Will Take It From Here remains consistent with Tribe’s catalog while not just going through the motions. It’s better than Beats Rhymes & Life, and The Love Movement. While the future of our country is uncertain, Tribe’s last album isn’t a fall off.

I would it put the new record on par with Aquemini.

Obviously, that isn’t a Tribe album. However, that reference in itself  speaks volumes on the influence of the Native Tongue lineage that includes people like  YE, Kendrick,  Cudi, & Chance.  Then think about with the latest De La Soul album & Common releases. The Roots are the band on the Tonight Show.  This pretty much solidifies the Native Tongues as the most influential rap collective in 2016 Hip Hop.

One could site J-Rawls work with Mos Def & Kweli which extends to Monie Love & Dominique Larue’s work with Heresy as the Columbus representation of Native Tongues.

Don’t forget the Potholes in the White House Lawn.

Eyedea Freestyles Over PRZM Beats

I didn’t do much Hip Hop content during the election because I didn’t want to offend people that might have randomly found this website.  November 9th was Twin Cities rapper Eyedea’s birthday. Eyedea passed away October 16, 2010.  I was going to post this video on November 9th. But instead I wrote a zillion word essay on the election and deleted that.

Eyedea was friends with Blueprint, Przm (RIP), Illogic, Bru Lei and those Columbus dudes. He was always funny, trippy, thoughtful and sincere. —good dude…..

Eyedea, Carnage & Los Nativos Freestyling in a van while on tour with Illogic,& Przm in 2004.

I’m not going run a full bio.

Let’s just say Eyedea was a battle rapper, poet, emcee, tortured soul etc.  Puff Daddy thought about signing the Minnesota rapper after he won the Blaze Battle.  DIY punk kids road their bikes to see him.
Every white rapper who battled imitated Eyedea to the point where it wasn’t worth watching organized battles because the winners were usually Eyedea clones.

This video isn’t the best depiction of Eyedea rapping. But it’s good look into what it was like to interact with these these guys. It’s worth watching just to know there is a beer called, “Bitch Creek.”

Just for clarity. They were in a van. Neither were running for president.

PRZM was one the best Hip Hop producers, deejays, & emcees ever.

PRZM had completely mastered the essence of Hip Hop that nuanced Detroit Electronic proto-futurism, thrash metal mischief and lo-fi happy accidents while still scoring 100 on the Wu-Tang/Mobb Deep litmus test.

He passed away in June 2007.

Sorry for not typing alot. But you could probably look these guys up on the net.

You Say You Want to Constitution

Well you know, he will mock everyone by pointing out that Hillary won the popular vote but no one could get together a strong campaign to change the electoral collage or look into voter suppression.

Clinton, and Obama can’t lead the call. It would disrespect democracy.

You can call your Congress person & demand they create legislation to change the constitution in same amount of breaths it takes to chant Not My President or during.

House Of Reps

Senators

Perhaps a kickstarter campaign that offers to pay faithless electors fines, if they don’t vote for that. If this doesn’t work then you could give the money to something that helps.

I’m guessing  Rolling Stone and the Free Press will have cover stories revealing Voter Suppression in their next month issues.

(This is not to disrespect efforts and people’s views..  I’m avoiding TLDR by posting links.)

Hindsight is 20/20

or is it 20/18

Please take of care of yourselves.

This whole thing has been draining. I think it’s important to remember that the voting demographic that decided this election is 45 years old to 70. Things can be different.

So rest when you need to rest. Don’t succumb to draining negativity.

Please correct me if I’m wrong on this. We know Hillary Clinton won the popular American vote.

Trump hates the Electoral Collage too. How cool would it be if the Donald was like: I won. Let’s get rid of this system?  Seems improbable. You never know. Maybe he is a cool dude. Trump won. Trump proved he could win. Imagine how heroic Trump could be. Trump would exist in History in a unique way. He wouldn’t have to mess with the Presidential stuff.

If the electoral collage doesn’t change:

The consolidation of votes on the coasts, and in cities were the problem in taking states, and the electoral collages.

If you want to protest.

The Electoral Collage can only be changed within the constitution. You have to contact your Congress people.then you have power?

If the electoral collage thing doesn’t happen, it’s going to be rough but George Bush gave us Obama so if everyone stays informed, and keeps active  then this whole thing wasn’t for nothing.

I hope leaders can turn masses into policy?  Even if they aren’t . If they know the law?

I feel people developed new skills, and networks that shouldn’t be forgotten.

With that said..

I feel really bad Hillary Clinton didn’t win. I donated and received this woman card. This isn’t to say: “here is what I did.”

Point:

On the back it said, “woman make 80 percent of what men make.” I put that card in a drawer and was like I fully believe in not pretending I can speak for women.

I do think it’s weird that 100 percent of women didn’t see equal pay for equal work and decide to vote for Hillary Clinton.

——

When it comes to local elections, I tried to watch you-tube videos, and read wiki’s on elections like judges, recorders, and coroners.. I realized that I had no clue on really who some of these people are. Heck, I found myself reading about what exactly the Department of Justice and the FBI do when James Comey dropped the FBI bomb. I kept reading the DOJ had supported BLM, and Standing Rock. I found myself wondering if the DOJ has power. My initially feeling was the FBI was using the emails to keep Hillary out of Standing Rock. I have no proof of that. I just look at historically how the FBI has treated people who support the Black Liberation Movement, and Native Americans.

dream in circumstance

I had originally had intended to write “Alleged Pisser Jesus Loves You More Than You Know.” when he lost. I was going to applaud him on creating the ultimate caricature of Republican politics. I had hoped he was like a Hugh Hefner figure that got himself to be a cog in the machine. He used to be in the Reform Party. He was friends with Jesse Jackson. If you really look into it him saying,“I love the blacks” is complete theater.
Dude kicks it with Mike Tyson, Diddy, & Don King. He is a socialite. This isn’t a “_____ has black friends argument.” It’s almost worse because he knows better.

From what I’ve read, he has some liberal standpoints, but has always wanted to crack down on foreign trade. Unfortunately during the election he took this to alarming fascist heights. Which again, made me hope that _____ was really friends with the Clintons, and he was complete parody.

During the debates Trump did discuss “breaking out lines.” During negotiations.

My hunch is that the elected doesn’t know exactly how government works.

So this could either equate to him gutting everything, and being horrible fascist that just works from his own benefit.

Or maybe he could be someone who is result driven and decides he really wants to be the best president. Maybe takes some unorthodox , and direct routes to fix things.   Or maybe he gets some insightful advisors.

The acceptance speech looked like he was saying, “look I can’t believe I got this job. Uhm. Help me.”

The guy is President. That’s the best I can do. Please be the best president.

Or.

Most Republicans knew that the demographic that did the best with people who make 50,000-100,000 dollars work 60 hours a weeks so they have a natural inclination to not like social programs. They needed someone who would get that ugly. They could disavow him to appear centrist in the Congressional races.

It’s kinda funny that people who make 50,000 to 100,000 feel disenfranchised. I do not think Bernie’s Democratic Socialism would not have worked on them.

I know Trump’s campaign was xenophobic, sexist, racists, filled with bold face lies made up on the spot. I spent the bulk of my blog saying I was terrified of a Trump presidency.

Honestly, the Dems will need a charisma school here in Ohio for the 2018 races.

Study Class Issues More.

If the average liberal avoided the pitfalls of demonizing the white working class then in the least no one could say their whitelash towards the elites was justified. It’s too bad their isn’t a conduit who could make them pay attention for the same reason black working class people do. People said Bernie does. He gave lots of speeches for Hillary.

This is Sad.

It’s weird. I do fear the majority population of white men people weren’t going to let woman to be president. It’s so fucking sad.

I’m a white male. I like white males. I drink with them. Many have honor and loyalty.

There some that you can see the damages from their relationships, work and decisions have taken a toll which turn into pathologies with ugly tinges.

That’s the most depressing part. If your boss is a dick, and you can’t make things work with your lady then your reaction is: “Woman president. Not on my watch..”

Or

The Voting Machines did not have a safety feature turned-on to prevent hacking. Voters were pulled from the ballots.

If the voting machine weren’t tampered, Ohio is no longer a swingstate. We zapped a bulk of Hillary’s energy which could’ve been put into Wisconsin. I’m not saying that people didn’t work hard. On either side.

One last thought: Maybe we need to gentrify Rural America.

Hillary Clinton For President.

I’m voting for Hillary Clinton.   I voted for her in the primaries. I’ve read her book.

I  don’t want to waste the next 20 years of my life watching America have to fix the economy, social issues, and our foreign policy. America isn’t perfect.  We’ve spent the past 400 years trying to get the government to reflect the ideal. Not for idealism.

We only got so many years? Why make them terrible?

Obamais probably the most loved president in recent memory.

The second most revered?  Bill Clinton.

Hillary is the most qualified, and experienced human running for President. This isn’t the lesser of two evils.  If you look at her positions, you would vote for her.

If Your for Bernie:

Ok. You know that feeling you get when you think: If Hillary is talking with Bernie, then why not Bernie?  That’s what happens to women constantly. They’re constantly told to defer to a man. I’m guessing that’s how it feels. I don’t know if it’s true.

Even if I’m wrong on that point, if Bernie Sanders and President Hillary Clinton have voices, then the country will get way closer to where you want it to be.

If Your for Jill Stein:

Hillary is against Citizens United. Hillary is for the environment. In addition, there aren’t many women who gotten this far.  You got Shirley Chisolm, and Geraldine Ferraro. Hillary will be busy in the White House, she can’t do a zillion interviews. When people want to discuss this particular experience, Jill Stein will probably have a voice in history. So I feel like Hillary is closer to your ideals, and will open a new lane in conversation.  Whom is going to break the glass ceiling? Whom is fight for criminal justice reform, and things that matter to you.

Working men who kicks ass like Donald Trump:

Trump ain’t sharing with you. You don’t have sex with models, and have casinos while running for president while also working with a billion dollar debt by giving help to people you don’t know. Let’s disregard the facts about him stiffing so many employees because he had the power to.

Were you ever invited to do cocaine with rappers, models, athletes & movie stars with Donald?  One beer didn’t trickle down?

Do you like expenses that aren’t like breast implants, fast cars or drugs?

No.  Why would Trump be different than you?

If You like right-wing conspiracy theories:

If she wins you then you now possess a new hobby. If she loses, then your just gonna have to listen to Donald Trump tell lies, and not get to participate.

Good Sports Use Honorable Mentions

Ok…Chicago’s Chance the Rapper & Ohio’s Patrick Carney might be on opposing ends of the World Series. However, both Midwesterners used social media to bring up valid points.

Chance tweeted in regards of the clash between Native Americans, and Police in Standing Rock North Dakota:

chance-nodapl

Don’t forget the Department of Justice was in support of the Natives.

The Cleveland Indians have taken Wahoo off their hat.  Pretty much everyone understands this is racist. No one wakes up and is like: Never forget Tecumseh!   Still, there is a conflict involving Native Americans. I’m guessing I don’t need to explain this further.

For me, this illustrates the past we live with. We have so many outdated & deep rooted problems.

Patrick Carney drummer of the Black Keys posted on IG about The Cubs Owner donations:

ricketstrump

The owner of the Cubs was initially against this, but changed.  The Indians owner donated to Kasich.  (Kasich voted for McCain in this election.)

I watch sports.

I think this just gives us perspective on the country we were  vs. where we want to go.

The country can go into very disparate directions. I feel like Hillary Clinton/Tim Kaine is centrist enough to quell the middle class fears.
Bernie Sanders always communicates well for the progressive agenda.

Obama’s rating pretty high. So he was better than his republican opponents.
